One of the premier importers of premium bananas, exotics and plantains in North America, Turbana also has a significant Fyffes Gold Supersweet pineapples business and this year launched a first for Fyffes – a plantain chip snack food pack. |
| 19th October 2010 - Fyffes Group Limited becomes the first UK Banana Importer and Distributor to be awarded the Carbon Trust Standard, after taking action on climate change by measuring, managing and reducing its carbon emissions by nearly 8% over the past three years. |  |
